Welcome to Stitched by Beverly! I offer handmade home goods including aprons, napkins, placemats, table runners, tea towels and throw pillow covers. All items are made to order by me, and my current processing time for most items is about 3 weeks (15 business days); some smaller items have a shorter processing time posted on the listing. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

How can I pay?

I use PayPal as my payment processor, so I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover or, you can pay using your PayPal balance. You don't have to have a PayPal account to pay for your order.  You can pay with your debit or credit card without a PayPal account. When you're taken to the PayPal login page, just click "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" and you'll be directed to a Guest Checkout page.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. I never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells me that you've paid and I receive your payment via PayPal.

When will my order ship?

  • All items I make are “made to order" by me, so, I do not have a stock of ready to ship items. My average processing timeframe is about 2-4 weeks (10-20 business days), however, this time frame can vary shorter or longer based on my current workload. Please see the notice at the top of each page for my current processing time.
  • If you have a time sensitive event where you need your order shipped sooner than my posted time, just contact me and I’ll be glad to check if I can accommodate your time frame (not always possible, but, I do try if I can to accommodate a customer’s rush request).
  • When I receive your order, I'll send you a confirmation email confirming that I received the order and I'll also confirm a "ship by" date.
  • Please note that if you choose an upgraded shipping option, that provides speedier shipping, but does not shorten my processing time.
  • If your order contains multiple items, I may need additional time to make your order (and I'll confirm a ship by date after I recieve your order).

How do you ship orders?

  • Orders ship from Jessup, Maryland, US
  • For US Domestic Orders:  Standard shipping is via USPS 1st Class Package or Priority Mail Service (depending on weight)
  • For International Orders:  Standard shipping is via USPS 1st Class International Package Service. Shipping timeframes vary by country.

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes, I welcome international orders! Please be aware of the following points when ordering:

  • For EU countries, VAT is NOT included in the price you will pay to me
  • Your country may impose customs fees on imported goods which are not shipping related charges, and are the responsibility of the buyer to pay.

  • To be compliant with US laws, the customs form will reflect the price you paid and will be marked as “merchandise”. 
  • If your package is returned unclaimed, you'll be refunded less original shipping upon receipt of the item in its original unused condition.

I want to ship an item directly to a gift recipient. Can you gift wrap and include a gift message?

Yes absolutely!  I can wrap your order in colored tissue paper and ribbon, and include a gift tag with your gift message free of charge (and will include a receipt without pricing).  Just include instructions that your order is a gift as well as your gift message in the "Order Comments" as you checkout.  Don't forget also to enter the recipient's address as the "ship to" address on your order.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Yes, I accept returns, exchanges and cancellations on non-custom/non-personalized orders. 

For Returns and Exchanges:

  • You must ship the item back within 30 days of receipt
  • Please contact me prior to returning an item(s) so I'm aware of an incoming return.
  • For returns due to "change of mind", you will need to pay the return shipping and send with tracking. For returns of defective or damaged items, I will provide a pre-paid return label.
  • Once I receive the item back in its original, not worn/not used condition, I will send the exchange or issue the refund. If the item is not returned in its original condition, buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

For Cancellations:

Please contact me asap when you’ve determined you need to cancel an order. Once the order has shipped, the “Return & Exchange” policy will apply.

*For custom/personalized orders, please contact me if there is an issue with your order.  

If I purchase an item as a holiday gift, is the return time frame still 30 days after delivery?

No, I have an extended return policy for holiday gifts! For an item purchased up to 60 days preceding a holiday and is purchased as a gift, the return time frame is either 30 days after delivery or 14 days following the holiday, whichever is the longer time frame. (So, for example, if purchased Oct. 25th as a Christmas gift, the return deadline is January 8th (instead of Nov. 25th).

What happens if I receive a damaged or defective item?

If your order is damaged in transit or you notice a defect in the item, I’ll repair, replace or refund your order if you follow these steps first:

  1. Contact me within 7 days of receiving a damaged or defective item(s)
  2. Take photos of the damaged/defective item(s) and damaged packaging, & send the photos to me, and retain the original item and packaging materials
  3. If applicable, I will send you a link to complete an insurance affidavit affirming the status as of the item(s) as damaged  
  4. I may require you to return item before a refund or replacement is sent and if so, then I will pay for both return shipping to me and replacement item back to you.

I'll be glad to repair, replace (if same materials are available) or refund original price, including original shipping, if you cooperate with the steps above. Thank you.

Can I request a custom item?

Yes! I welcome custom order requests and would love to create something special just for you!  Just contact me to request a custom order and provide details regarding your request.  Please note the following regarding custom orders:

  • Orders with design/pattern changes, sizing adjustments, or special order fabric (fabric I do not have in stock) may be priced higher than a similarly listed item
  • Payment for custom orders is required in advance of work starting on your order.
  • Once we've confirmed all your requirements, I will create a custom listing for you and send you the link, and you can then "add to cart" and purchase
  • Once you purchase the listing, I will then procure any needed materials and create your order within the listed processing time.

And, I may decide that your custom order item is so awesome that I want to list it for sale again, so, don't be surprised if your custom item becomes a stock item in my shop!

Do you make aprons in different sizes or can you do custom sizing?

Yes, I offer many aprons in several sizes for women, kids and men, and also accept custom sizing requests. Just contact me if you need a custom length or waist sizing if the standard sizing shown doesn't suit your needs and I'll let you know if I can accommodate your request.

Do you sell on other online sites?

Yes.  I also sell on Etsy.com and Amazon.com (Amazon Handmade). The price of my items is the same across all sites.
